There is an idea of a Max; some kind of abstraction. But there is no real Max: only an entity, something illusory. And though he can hide his cold gaze, and you can reblog his posts and hear the beats in your head and maybe you can even sense your tastes in music are probably comparable… he simply is not there.
Or maybe Max is just the guy who posts (occasionally) great songs in between being a dweeb who overthinks things… sometime’s to the point that he comes off as pretentious. There’s a lot of music out there and there’s no way I can get it all to you one song per week… but man, am I gonna try!
