People call me by many different things: the laziest ones call me ‘Viu’ or ‘Vio’, others make a mixture of the two, and call me ‘Viou’, some others ‘Violet’, people on the street call me ‘Excuse Me’ and my family calls me ‘Violeta’.
I am part of the first group of people and call myself ‘Viu’ because… I like it and… Yes, I’m a bit lazy.
So, hey, I’m Viu, an illustrator and graphic designer from Barcelona. I like sunny days, the sound a pencil makes when I’m drawing, staring at the sky and procrastinating (which I’m really good at).
I also enjoy listening to music, and a huge part of my day consists of that. I like to dig into the history of music and find great old bands I have never listened to before. I’m mostly attracted by genres like punk, hardcore punk and ska, but I also enjoy rock and roll a lot. It all depends on the moment, because there’s a moment for every kind of music.
