ILLLS - Teeth

First of all, hi! It’s so cool to be able to be a part of this Very Prestigious Blog, and I’m really excited to see what it has in store. 

But anyways, back to business. Having just played their first live show in November, ILLLS is relatively new to the indie scene. So new, in fact, that it’s proving impossible for me to find anything about them or their music via Google or anywhere else. What I do know is how great this song is. Off of their self-titled EP, Teeth sounds like if the bassists from Surfer Blood and Wavves had a baby, and then that baby had a baby with, um… I’m gonna go with Michael Bell-Smith of Professor Murder (work with me here). What results is a jaunty tune with a killer bass line that I haven’t been able to stop listening to for the past week. Now, I know the cover looks kind of like a bad Instagram photo of god knows what, but give it a chance! Especially if you love surf rock as much as I do.
